“A Memorable Experience at JSMID 8th!
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to present our proposed research innovation at the 8th JSMID on the Research Center FKG UNAIR Innovation Poster Awards Vol. 2.
I’m incredibly honored that our team received 2nd Place!
It was also a special experience being the only undergraduate team among specialist doctors, Master’s, and doctoral students!
Our proposed innovation explores a Hybrid Biosandwich combining Mujair fish skin-derived acellular dermal matrix (ADM) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) as a potential regenerative material for preventing postoperative palatal fistula following primary palatoplasty.
Although we’re still at the proposal stage, presenting our idea and seeing the work of others gave us so many new perspectives and reminded us of how much there is still to learn.
