Marius Tanase։ Building Stronger Partnerships for Better Bleeding Disorders Care
Marius Tanase, Administrative Specialist at Wellington, shared a post on LinkedIn։
“It was an honour to be part of this essential process for the community of people living with bleeding disorders.
It was wonderful to see the partnership between the Romanian Haemophilia Association, the European Haemophilia Consortium, and the Romanian Society of Haematology moving towards a shared organisational approach, which is essential for the next steps in our community’s progress.
Continuing the fight to ensure access to treatment for every member of our community is a truly meaningful journey, bringing together people whose shared missions are being fulfilled through dedication, collaboration, and a common purpose.
Together, we can turn collaboration into progress and progress into better access to care for everyone.”
EHC – European Haemophilia Consortium shared a post on LinkedIn։
“Day 2 of the EHC country visit to Romania took the delegation to the Comprehensive Haemophilia Care Centre at the Fundeni Clinical Institute in Bucharest.
After yesterday’s roundtable at Parliament, EHC President Tatjana Markovic, Vice-President William McKeown, and Steering Committee Member Marius Tanase met the clinical team and toured the adult clinic, laboratory, paediatric unit, and outpatient clinic.
Huge thanks to Professor Daniel Coriu, Centre Director and Head of the Romanian Haematology Association, for hosting the delegation, and to Dr Melen Brinza, Dr Ana-Maria Marcu, and Sorina Hincu for showing them their work.
Discussions covered how to bring treaters and centres across Romania closer together, how to certify centres and treaters, and how a national registry with its own secretariat could improve data and services.
Romania has come a long way in recent years, and there is real reason to be optimistic about what comes next. Thank you to the Fundeni team and Asociația Română de Hemofilie (our Romanian National Member Organisation) for their openness and their commitment to people with bleeding disorders.”
