”During my stay in Lisbon I had a privilege to give a lecture for Polish cardiologists about ‘Anticoagulation in specific situations’ during special pre-ACVC event.
Anticoagulation in real life causes lot of dilemmas, and we are increasingly forced to make individualized decisions and move towards patient-oriented precise medicine.
With Christophe Vandenbriele we wrote last year one of the Association for Acute Cardio Vascular Care – ACVC Clinical Decision Making Toolkit chapters: 10.2 Managing anticoagulation in critically ill in specific situations, which includes i.e. bleeding on OAC, anticagulation and hemolysis during MCS, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, and MV thrombosis.”
