Cesar de Almeida Neto: Highlighting The Final Day of Hemo 2026
Cesar de Almeida Neto, Medical Manager at Hospital Nove de Julho, Head of Apheresis Department at Pró-Sangue Foundation Hemocenter of São Paulo, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The final day of Hemo 2026 was a great opportunity to discuss different approaches to hemovigilance, including the Spanish model, recent changes in the Brazilian system following the new regulation, and strategies to strengthen hemovigilance practices in transfusion services.
It was also a pleasure to present a poster highlighting the benefits of surgical blood reservation management.
Time to say goodbye to Rio and head home with wonderful memories, great connections, and, above all, valuable knowledge and new ideas to bring back!
Thank you, Hemo 2026! Until next time!”
