Daisy Souster: A New Chapter in Bleeding Disorder Advocacy
Daisy Souster, Public Relations Consultant at Souster PR, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m officially a columnist with Bionews, Inc.
Most of you will already be aware, but for those of you that are not – I was diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in the prime of my childhood.
At the time, I didn’t understand what that meant, but I could tell that something wasn’t quite right when needles were jabbed into my arm every other day.
Earlier this year I created and published a picture book all about growing up with ITP, and naturally to continue to help me spread more awareness around the bleeding disorder, I brainstormed ways in which I could continue to do so.
It was only when Halsey Blocher contacted me through my personal Instagram page to see if I’d like to write a weekly column for Bio News on my experience, that I realized this was the perfect next step.
So grab yourself a cuppa, or a coffee if you are anything like me, and take a read of my very first column.
My next column lands tomorrow – so watch this space for more.”
