“Grateful to have participated in the 39th ISBT Congress 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and to connect with colleagues, researchers, and friends from around the world who are committed to advancing transfusion medicine.
The congress was an inspiring opportunity to learn, share experiences, and exchange ideas on haemovigilance, donor and therapeutic apheresis, and cellular therapies.
It was a privilege to contribute through:
- Lunch Symposium Session: PAS-Enabled Multicomponent Apheresis: Optimizing Donor Experience and Productivity
- Poster Presentations: Stepwise Implementation of RFID-Based Bedside Blood Component Monitoring: A Quality Improvement Initiative
- Active participation in ISBT Working Party meetings, collaborating with international experts to shape future directions in transfusion medicine.
The meaningful discussions, new collaborations, and shared commitment to improving blood safety and patient care made this a truly enriching experience.
