Patient Advocacy and Clinical Excellence United at the European Certificate in Clinical Haemostasis – EHC
European Haemophilia Consortiumn (EHC), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What a week in Lyon!
The EHC was proud to be part of the European Certificate in Clinical Haemostasis, hosted at Hôpital Louis Pradel in Bron and led by the exceptional Prof Yesim Dargaud (CRH French Reference Center for Hemophilia Lyon).
This intensive programme brings together physicians from across the French-speaking European community to train in bleeding and thrombotic disorders – and the level of expertise in the room was truly remarkable.
Over the week, we had the privilege of learning alongside world-class speakers including Dr Maria Elisa Mancuso, Dr Cedric Hermans, (Lon,Edin), Prof Karin Fijnvandraat, Dr Cihan Ay and others, who tackled real-world clinical cases across surgery management, paediatric haematology, ageing with bleeding disorders, and more.
Throughout it all, the EHC was here to ensure the patient perspective was part of the conversation – presenting ‘Women Bleed Too’ and shining a light on the reality of living with a bleeding disorder as a woman.
A heartfelt thank you to Prof Yesim Dargaud for welcoming us into this outstanding programme and for recognising that the best clinical education is shaped by the voices of patients.
This is exactly the kind of partnership that moves our community forward.
Patient advocacy and medical education:
stronger together. ”
