Erika Bocanegra: Witnessing 25 Years of Progress in Bleeding Disorders Care

Erika Bocanegra, Director of HTC Business Development and Community Engagement at Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children, Lifespan Orthopaedic HTC, shared CHES Foundation, Inc.‘s post on LinkedIn:

“When I first started in the bleeding disorders space 25 years ago, many of the treatment options available today were hard to imagine.

Fast forward to today, and we we’ve witnessed incredible advances, from non-factor therapies and extended half-life products to gene therapy and more personalized approaches to care.

It’s been inspiring to watch the field evolve and, more importantly, to see the positive impact these innovations have had on the lives of patients and families.

Excited to see what the future holds!”

CHES Foundation, Inc. shared a post on LinkedIn:

HYMPAVZI is now approved for people with hemophilia A or B ages 12+ with inhibitors, as well as children ages 6–11 with or without inhibitors.

This milestone also makes HYMPAVZI the first subcutaneous non-factor therapy available for children with hemophilia B ages 6–11.”
