Kymentie Ferdinande: New Insights Into Platelet Function and Thrombus Formation in Cirrhosis
Kymentie Ferdinande, PhD Researcher UNIPD at University of Padova, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, adding:
“Primary hemostasis in cirrhosis is more complex than platelet count alone.
In our recent commentary in RPTH Journal, we discuss new insights into platelet function and how flow-based assays such as T-TAS may help assess thrombus formation under more physiological conditions.”
