Maria Diaz Alonso: Delivering My First International Oral Presentation at ISTH 2026
Maria Diaz Alonso, Research Technician at University of Reading, shared on LinkedIn:
”I’m incredibly grateful to have attended the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) 2026 Congress in Paris.
I had the opportunity to give my first oral presentation at an international conference, where I presented part of our work on cryopreservation of platelets for platelet function assays.
It was a privilege to share our research and learn from so many experts in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis.
Thank you to my PI’s Jon Gibbins, Chris Jones and colleagues at the University of Reading for their continuous support and to the British Heart Foundation for funding this research.”
