Mauricio Vasco Ramirez: Balancing Bleeding and Thrombotic Risks in Ultrasound-Guided Intervention
Mauricio Vasco Ramirez, President of Colombian Society for Simulation-Based Education (SOCOLSIM), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Andrea Boccatonda et al. published in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, adding:
“Management of Antiplatelet and Anticoagulant Therapy in the Context of Ultrasound-Guided Invasive Procedures.
‘The growing use of antiplatelet (APT) and anticoagulant therapies (ACT) in an aging population has created increasing challenges when patients require invasive procedures, including those performed under ultrasound (US) guidance’.”
