“Women and Hemostasis — Women and Cancer Day
Happy to have attended this important conference organized by M2MED sarl and led by Dr. Ali Taher and Dr. David Atallah bringing together Hematology Oncology and OBGYN on Lebanon’s Independence Day 🇱🇧, and highlighting unique challenges women face when it comes to bleeding disorders, thrombosis, pregnancy, and cancer.
We heard excellent talks from Dr. Ali Taher, Dr. Firas Kreidieh, Dr. Jean El-Cheikh, Dr. David Atallah, Dr. Faysal El Kak, and many others who highlighted how essential it is to care for women through a multidisciplinary lens.
But what truly touched everyone in the room were the patient testimonies. Living with a bleeding disorder or cancer as a woman is not easy, and hearing their stories made every scientific session feel even more real and tangible.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn from these experts and to see such dedication to advancing women’s health in Lebanon.”
