Women for Their Health: Paige Bingham on Boston Scientific’s Initiative ”Close the Gap” Act During AFib Awareness Month
Paige Bingham, Director, Close the Gap at Boston Scientific, shared on LinkedIn:
”Studies have shown that women living with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) – a heart condition that can cause a stroke – are 17% less likely than non-Hispanic white men to receive a life-saving treatment called ablation.
That is unacceptable.
I’m proud of the resources that Close the Gap, a Boston Scientific initiative, has created to help women advocate for their health, during AFib Awareness Month and beyond!
