Peter Zdziarski: A Brighter Future for Glanzmann Thrombasthenia Through Gene Therapy
Peter Zdziarski, Vice President and Marketing Director at Glanzmann’s Research Foundation, shared a post on LinkedIn։
“It’s Rare Disease Day, and tomorrow is the official Glanzmann Thrombasthenia Awareness Day.
I was born with GT, and knowing that I may see gene therapy in my lifetime is incredible.
Through every challenge and every win, I wouldn’t change my journey.
The people I’ve met, the knowledge I’ve gained, and the places this path has taken me have shaped who I am, and I’m truly grateful.
Please consider donating to the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Every contribution moves us closer to a future where people with GT have more than just a couple of treatment options.
But a true solution.
A future with fewer antibodies from platelet transfusions, fewer dangerous bleeds, less bruising, and fewer long hospital stays.
The future is bright.
Donate toward gene therapy.”
