Piotr Czempik: Patient Blood Management Means Safer Care, Better Quality, and Responsible Resource Use
Piotr Czempik, Chair of Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at Medical University of Silesia, shared on LinkedIn:
”I have just returned from the Intensive Care Forum, where I had the opportunity to give a lecture on Patient Blood Management.
I am glad that I was able to start a discussion on this important strategy.
PBM is not only a set of clinical tools, but above all a way of thinking about patient safety, quality of care and responsible use of resources.
I hope that this speech will be an impulse for further talks and actions towards the implementation of PBM in Polish hospitals.
I would like to thank the organizers for the invitation and all the participants for their presence and discussion.”
