Ralf Ludwig: Bridging Population Data and Immunology in Inflammatory Diseases
Ralf Ludwig, Director of the Lübeck Institute of Experimental Dermatology at the University of Lübeck, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”New Research Topic at Frontiers in Immunology – and we want your best RWD and immunology work.
‘Real-world advances in inflammatory diseases: from population data to immunological mechanisms and clinical impact’
The premise: Population-scale data is most powerful when paired with mechanistic insight.
We’re looking for studies that do both – whether that’s comparative effectiveness of biologics, immune biomarkers at scale, comorbidity mapping, or methods work on causal inference in observational cohorts.
TriNetX, UK Biobank, NHIRD, Clalit, national registries – all welcome.
Editors: Shuo-Yan Gau (Charité), Ralf Ludwig (Lübeck), Uazman Alam (Liverpool), Philip Curman (Karolinska).
Deadline for submission – 4 December 2026.”
