Delays in diagnosis can extend for years, often resulting in repeated emergency visits, chronic anemia, lost productivity and avoidable procedures.
This is not simply a clinical issue.
It is a systems and cost issue.
Closing this gap for women is not only the right thing to do for patients – it is a high-value, cost-effective investment for any State”
