Satyam Arora: Best Abstract Award in Pediatric Apheresis at ASFA 2026 Congress
Satyam Arora, Regional Director for South East Asia at the International Society of Blood Transfusion, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Honored to receive the Best Abstract Award for Oral Presentation at the American Society for Apheresis
ASFA 2026 Congress.
Chaired meet the experts table for Pediatric Apheresis for the congress.
In pediatric apheresis, we often work at the edge of physiology, technology, and resource constraints – where every decision matters, and every variable counts.
This recognition is not just for an abstract, but for a shared effort to bring clarity, consistency, and equity to how we care for children globally.
This a global effort between ASFA, ISBT and WAA.
Also reassuring that all those deep dives into extracorporeal volume, anticoagulation, and calcium balance occasionally translate into something meaningful
Grateful to mentors, colleagues, and collaborators who made this possible.
Back to work – because the real impact is still ahead.”
