Sean Lybrand: Supporting Children with ALL with ACT 4 Children in Armenia
Sean Lybrand, Executive Director, Access to Healthcare at Amgen, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This week Jon Hicks and I have been in Armenia at Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center, Ministry of Health of Armenia on our first program visit with ACT 4 Children, a collaboration we entered in 2025 to focus on the healthcare needs of children living with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
Our support for the program is in collaboration with other organisations including City of Smile Charitable Foundation, Childhood Cancer International and Resonance, all of whom were present today in the engagements.
The photos attached are of the ‘survivor tree’ and ‘the bell’, rung when a child successfully completes there cancer treatment. Both are emotive symbols of success of cancer treatment- acknowledging that cancer survivors and their families also have ongoing needs for support that go well beyond their hospital time. The food photos are nutritional support programs provided by Childhood Cancer International to the children during their stay.
Thank you Yeolyan and our collaborators.”
