Shakti Bedanta Mishra: A Practical Guide to Hematology in Critical Care
Shakti Bedanta Mishra, Critical Care Professor and ICU Educator IMS and SUM, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Delighted to share my Springer book, Critical Care Hematology.
This book brings together a practical, ICU-focused approach to hematological problems in critically ill patients — from anemia, thrombocytopenia, coagulation abnormalities, transfusion medicine, hematological malignancies, chemotherapy-related critical illness, and complex complications seen in intensive care.
The aim was to create a bedside-friendly reference for intensivists, hematologists, residents, fellows, and trainees — with systematic approaches, key points, and clinical algorithms that can help in decision-making during busy ICU practice.
Grateful to all the contributing authors and colleagues who made this work possible.
It is encouraging to see the book being accessed widely on SpringerLink, and I hope it continues to be useful for clinicians managing hematology-related challenges in the ICU.”
