Shreya Agarwa: Transforming Care For Adolescents With Heavy Menstrual Bleeding
Shreya Agarwa, Pediatric Hematologist at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A special milestone today as we launch our Multidisciplinary Heavy Menstrual Bleeding Clinic at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals!
Heavy menstrual bleeding is common, yet many adolescents experience delays in diagnosis and fragmented care.
By bringing together Pediatric Hematology, Adolescent Medicine, and close collaboration with Pediatric Gynecology, we’re hoping to change that. As the first clinic of its kind in San Francisco, our goal is to provide seamless, multidisciplinary care for adolescents and their families.
Grateful to partner with Amanda Bryson, Sloane B., and our incredible nursing and administrative teams to make this vision a reality.
Here’s to many more clinic days and to the patients and families we’ll have the privilege of caring for.”
