“Proud to present at the West London HCC Study Day on fat embolism syndrome (FES) a rare but devastating complication of sickle cell disease.
Early recognition saves lives.
We shared our experience using combined red cell exchange and plasma exchange as a promising rescue therapy for severe FES.
Grateful to be part of ongoing work to improve outcomes for people living with SCD.”
