World Federation of Hemophilia shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Malawi, access to treatment is changing lives for people with hemophilia.
Using support from the WFH World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR) Research Support Program, clinicians at Kamuzu Central Hospital documented the impact of
access to donated factor through the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program.
Their findings showed fewer bleeding episodes, fewer joint bleeds, less time lost from school and work, and improved quality of life for people with hemophilia.
The study demonstrates how local data can help strengthen advocacy efforts and support better care for people with Bleeding disorders.
