Yazan Abou Ismail Receives The Qatar Foundation Legacy Award
Yazan Abou Ismail, Associate Professor of Hematology at University of Utah, shared on LinkedIn:
”I’m truly humbled and honored to be the recipient of the prestigious Qatar Foundation Legacy Award, selected from among a large, distinguished group of exceptional alumni representing eight universities over three decades of excellence.
On its 30th anniversary, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Qatar Foundation on 30 years of visionary leadership, transforming generations of QF Alumni Program through the power of world-class education and state-of-the-art innovation, and building upon the most precious foundation: human potential.
I was unfortunately unable to attend due to travel restrictions, and I remain deeply proud to be a Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar and QF alumnus, and profoundly grateful to the QF community, led by Her Highness Sheikha, for this honor.
So sad to have missed the opportunity to meet Her Highness!”
