Amir Mohammad Nouri on The Potential of DeepPE
Amir Mohammad Nouri, AI Engineer – Medical Imaging at SIMUT, shared on LinkedIn:
”Over the past days, I captured several screenshots from the DeepPE application, and it was truly fascinating to see pulmonary embolism rendered in a full 3D interactive view.
When one is able to visualize PE in actual pulmonary artery systems and view the lungs, heart and vascular structures of PE in every dimension is a demonstration of the great strength of 3D medical imaging on enhancing our clinical comprehension and strengthening the diagnostic process.
With DeepPE, users can:
- Upload cardiac CT images
- Run automated deep learning segmentation
- Inspect slice-by-slice anatomical overlays
- Explore detailed 3D meshes showing lungs, heart, pulmonary arteries, and embolized regions
If you know someone working in medical imaging, AI in healthcare, cardiovascular research, or radiology, feel free to share this post with them.”
