Brian O Mahony, CEO of Irish Haemophilia Society, Former President of WFH and EHC, shared a post on X:
“Seidizadeh BIC2025 Type 1 VWD found in 11/1000 people. Poor correlation between VWF level and bleeding. Blood group not a bleeding determinant. Wide variation in bleeding. Women with type 1 have higher bleeding score than men.”
