Flora Peyvandi Highlights Challenges in Delivering Gene Therapy Despite Scientific Advances
Flora Peyvandi, Professor of Internal Medicine-Hemostasis and Thrombosis Unit, University of Milan, former President of ISTH, shared on X:
“From one to many gene therapies: much of the gene-therapy science is ready, but business hurdles remain. ‘We can deliver on the therapeutic promise of gene therapies, but we may miss out if we’re not able to deliver to the patient,’ Naldini says.”
