Vrushali Lad: What Living With DVT Taught Me About Lifestyle and Movement

“I spent a year sitting at my desk for long stretches, barely exercising, and eating junk food.
I suspect this is what gave me DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), though nobody’s really sure yet if other factors are at play. My body finally forced me to evaluate my lifestyle and health.
If you’re a desk worker, movement during work cannot be an afterthought. You will need to build it into your working day. Here’s a piece I wrote on my DVT diagnosis and how I’m living with it.”
