Oliver Tiebel Invites You to the 4th Dresden Symposium: Hemostasis in AINS 2026
Oliver Tiebel, Medical Director, Laboratory Director MVZ at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital Dresden GmbH, shared on LinkedIn:
”Dresden Symposium “Hemostasis in AINS” (HAINS): February 28, 2026, Haus der Kirche Dresden
Main topic for 2026: “The importance of my therapy: Balancing bleeding and thrombosis in anesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine.”
The focus will be on current diagnostic and therapeutic concepts for coagulation management in perioperative, intensive care, and emergency medicine situations.
Several scientific sessions will discuss evidence-based approaches to coagulation control, risk stratification, and therapy-related decisions—including questions about thromboembolic risks, anticoagulation, and the prevention and treatment of perioperative bleeding.
In addition, modern strategies for the treatment of trauma- and inflammation-associated coagulopathies as well as challenges in thrombosis prophylaxis in complex clinical scenarios will be highlighted.
Structured pro/con debates and interactive workshops will also provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion of controversial therapeutic approaches and practice-relevant case studies.
Finally, an interactive HAINS quiz invites participants to reflect together on the key content of the symposium.
We are convinced that this year’s HAINS symposium will once again provide a valuable platform for scientific exchange and practical training, and we look forward to welcoming you all to Dresden.
Yours sincerely,
Thea Koch, Jan Beyer-Westendorf, Peter Spieth, Oliver Tiebel and Lars Heubner
