Ted Roh: A Historic Milestone for Indonesia’s Health Innovation
Ted Roh, President at SK plasma core Indonesia, shared on LinkedIn:
”A Historic Milestone for Indonesia’s Health Innovation
SKPlasma Core Indonesia, a joint venture between SK plasma, part of Korea’s SK Group, and Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), specializing in the manufacturing of Plasma Derived Medicinal Products (PDMPs), officially launched SK GammaBio and SK Albumin during the National Health Day (HKN) celebration.
This milestone strengthens Indonesia’s health resilience and is made possible through strong collaboration with PMI, Dr. Sardjito Hospital, and continuous support from Kemenkes, BPOM, BKPM, and other national stakeholders.
Indonesia’s need for plasma-derived therapies continues to grow, especially for patients with immunodeficiency disorders, liver disease, severe burns, major trauma, and those in intensive care. Producing these therapies from local donor plasma will enhance supply security, expand access, and improve affordability for Indonesian patients.
We are also honored to receive the “Karya Anak Bangsa” award for national innovation, recognizing SKPlasma Core Indonesia as the pioneer of plasma fractionation in Indonesia.
With our Karawang facility now over 98% complete, we remain committed to advancing pharmaceutical independence and delivering safe, high-quality plasma-derived medicines for Indonesia.
By delivering globally standardized therapies derived from Indonesian donor’s plasma, SKPlasma Core Indonesia reaffirms its dedication to providing safe, high-quality, and sustainable healthcare solutions, while supporting Indonesia’s broader vision of achieving pharmaceutical and healthcare independence.”
