WFH Recently Visited Kazakhstan to Learn More About Its Bleeding Disorders Care
World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The WFH recently visited Kazakhstan to learn more about its bleeding disorders care, strengthen collaboration and support the community through the NMO’s organizational development. During the visit meetings were held with key partners in Almaty and Astana, including the Ministry of Health and the Medicinal Products Procurement Department. WFH also took part in the National Forum on Hemophilia and visited several hemophilia treatment centers (HTCs).
WFH conducted educational sessions on novel therapies separately for HTC teams and patients and shared insights on effective procurement mechanisms with the MoH. Organizational development sessions were also held for the patient organization’s Board.
This visit reflects WFH’s ongoing commitment to improving care in Kazakhstan, with agreements for closer cooperation with the MoH and HTCs moving forward.”
