Steve Grossman Explored How New U.S. Policies May Transform Hemophilia Surveillance, Safety Monitoring, and Global Data Transparency
World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Day 1 of the WFH Global Forum in Montreal brought together global experts, patients, and advocates to tackle some of the most pressing issues in bleeding disorders treatment and access.
The day opened with a critical look at policy and data. Steve Grossman explored how new U.S. policies may transform hemophilia surveillance, safety monitoring, and global data transparency—setting the stage for two days of meaningful dialogue.
In the afternoon, Ekawat Suwantaroj delivered a powerful testimony on rebalancing agents, shedding light on the significant access barriers faced by people in low- and middle-income countries. His message underscored the urgent need for equity in care.
The Forum concluded with a powerful debate on access and sustainability. WFH VP Medical, Glenn Pierce and Irish Haemophilia Society CEO, Brian O Mahony, shared global perspectives on whether universal access to all treatment options is achievable—or sustainable—in the pursuit of Treatment For All.
Stay tuned for more updates from Day 2 of the WFH Global Forum.”
