”Happy to share our New Publication in Blood Advances.
We address an important question in the management of iron deficiency anemia (IDA) and the interpretation of health economics bringing global burden of this significant health morbidity per World Health Organization.
While recent modeling suggested that first-line intravenous (IV) iron may be the most cost-effective strategy for women with heavy menstrual bleeding, our publication emphasizes that cost-effectiveness is only as strong as the assumptions and comparators included in the model and real world avalaibility of these treatment options.
