Jeevandeep Mishra: Thrombotic Complications and Risk in COVID-19
Jeevandeep Mishra, Assistant Professor at Indore Institute of Pharmacy, Pithampur Road, Opp. IIM, Rau, Indore, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he co-authored with Nimita Manocha, adding:
”I am proud to share a significant milestone in my academic journey-my book chapter titled ‘Thrombotic Events and Comprehensive Risk of SARS-CoV-2: An Overview’ has been published with Bentham Science.
This work provides a detailed overview of thrombotic complications associated with COVID-19, highlighting the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, including hyperinflammatory responses, platelet activation, and the coagulation cascade.
It also explores the increased risk of conditions such as venous thromboembolism (VTE), pulmonary embolism (PE), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and arterial thrombosis in affected patients.
Being part of this research has been an enriching experience, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the clinical and molecular aspects of COVID-19 and its complications.
This publication reinforces my commitment to advancing knowledge in pharmacology and healthcare research. I look forward to contributing further to impactful scientific work that addresses real-world health challenges.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Nimita Grover Manocha ma’am (Principal, IIP) for her constant support, guidance, and encouragement throughout this journey. ”
