In this paper, we summarize the current evidence on anticoagulant therapy for elderly and frail patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation, highlighting the benefits of DOACs, the importance of individualized treatment, and emerging strategies to optimize stroke prevention while reducing bleeding risk.”
