Christina (Tina) P., CEO and Co-Founder of APS Foundation of America, shared on LinkedIn:
”Today, we’ll discuss the symptoms of a stroke.
Early recognition leads to early treatment and hopefully long-term damage.
Even better, work on prevention by maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, quitting smoking, and limiting alcohol intake.
Your doctor can help you control blood pressure, manage cholesterol, treat atrial fibrillation, manage diabetes, and take any prescribed medications.
APS patients need to know what the symptoms of a stroke are because it is one of the clinical features of APS.
Did you know that APS is responsible for 1 in 3 strokes in people under 50 and the NUMBER ONE cause of stroke in young people!!
Today, we’ll discuss the symptoms of a stroke.
