The 1st Participant in A New CHECK-NIRS Clinical Study is Enrolled!

”Together with our medical doctoral candidate Annalena Müllers we enrolled the first participant in our new clinical study – the CHECK-NIRS study.
In this project, we will systematically investigate external and behavioural factors influencing NIRS-based 2D-imaging.
This marks an important first step in translating our predominantly experimental findings into clinical application, with the goal of gaining deeper insights into tissue oxygenation in humans.
I am particularly looking forward to collaborating with Patricia Wischmann from the Department of Cardiology, Pneumology and Angiology at University Hospital Düsseldorf, Kalman Bodis from the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology at University Hospital Düsseldorf and Katharina Post from inovex GmbH.
