Lucila Kerbauy: Precision Medicine in AML and CAR Cells
Lucila Kerbauy, Head of Cell Therapy Center at Einstein Hospital Israelita, reposted from Larissa Zanetti, on LinkedIn:
“I’m very happy and proud to share another publication from our group on CAR-T cell therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
A special thank you to our team and collaborators who make this work possible. Advancing innovative and accessible cell therapies in Brazil and beyond is truly a collective effort.”
Quoting Larissa Zanetti’s post:
“It’s out!
I’m very proud to share our recent publication, “Precision Medicine in AML and CAR Cells: Where Are We?” — a collaborative effort uniting two leading research groups from our institution.
In this work, we explore how precision medicine and CAR-based cellular therapies (CAR-T and CAR-NK) are converging to transform the landscape of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) treatment. The review highlights the critical role of patient-specific approaches, novel target discovery, and next-generation cell engineering in shaping the future of personalized immunotherapy.
I truly believe that as the field of advanced cell therapies continues to expand, the integration of precision medicine principles will become increasingly essential.
A huge thank you to my incredible collaborators and mentors who made this work possible.”
