▪︎ Micro-Mega karyocytes
▪︎ Platelets
Megakaryocytes extend their cytoplasmic projections into the blood vessels of the bone marrow, where these extensions fragment into numerous small pieces that become platelets – approximately 1 megakaryocyte produces about 1,000–3,000 platelets.”
