Addressing Underdiagnosis and Care Inequities in Women and Girls with Bleeding Disorders – WFH
World Federation of Hemophilia shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Donna Coffin et al, published in Haemophilia:
“Women and girls with bleeding disorders are still underdiagnosed and underserved
New research published in Haemophilia, based on a global survey of WFH National Member Organizations, reveals persistent gaps in diagnosis, access to care, and specialized services for women and girls worldwide.
Delayed diagnosis, limited data, and socioeconomic and cultural barriers continue to stand in the way of equitable care.
The findings underline the need for stronger awareness, better data, and expanded multidisciplinary services to close these gaps.”
