Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (JTH) shared on LinkedIn about a recent article by Anne de Vaan et al, adding:

”Higher-Dosed Clotting Factor Prophylaxis Fails to Reduce Postpartum Hemorrhage in Women With von Willebrand Disease

A prospective Dutch study found that intensified prophylactic clotting factor therapy during pregnancy did not reduce severe postpartum hemorrhage rates in women with von Willebrand disease.”
