Intensive Clotting Factor Prophylaxis Does Not Prevent Severe PPH in VWD – JTH

”Higher-Dosed Clotting Factor Prophylaxis Fails to Reduce Postpartum Hemorrhage in Women With von Willebrand Disease
A prospective Dutch study found that intensified prophylactic clotting factor therapy during pregnancy did not reduce severe postpartum hemorrhage rates in women with von Willebrand disease.”
