World Federation of Haemophilia-WFH shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In Nigeria, the WFH recently carried out a country visit with the Haemophilia Foundation of Nigeria to strengthen national planning and access to hemophilia treatment.
Discussions brought together the National Health Insurance Agency and the Federal Ministry of Health to explore including a basic hemophilia care package in the national health scheme and to identify care pathways for local procurement of treatment products.
These steps move us closer to sustainable access for people with Bleeding Disorders.”
