Deepak Sudheendra, CEO and Medical Director at 360 Vascular Institute, Founder and Medical Director at AngioCare LLC, shared a post on Linkedin:
“The clot is treated.

Blood clot awareness month is ending…

Post thrombotic syndrome is an underrecognized cause of chronic leg swelling, pain, skin changes, and sometimes wounds after a blood clot.
In this short video, I explain why blood thinners don’t dissolve the clot, why some patients continue to have symptoms, and how there are procedures that can improve quality of life.
The before and after images in this case show why treating these patients can be so rewarding.”
