Rucha Patil on WFH Humanitarian Aid Program in India
Rucha Patil, Scientist, Department of Haemostasis and Thrombosis, ICMR- National Institute of Immunohaematology, shared a proud post on LinkedIn:
”The World Federation of Hemophilia Humanitarian Aid Department, in collaboration with Hemophilia Federation (India) organized a valuable workshop in Delhi, India, on 12-13 July 2025 focused on the effective use of Extended Half-Life (EHL) treatment products. The workshop aimed to enhance the utilization of EHL donations and provide training to treaters from recipient Hemophilia Treatment Centres (HTCs) across India.
We are proud to share that our KEM-ICMR-NIIH HTC been able to initiate low-dose Immune Tolerance Induction (ITI) using EHL products, thanks to the generous support from WFH and achieve a 60% success rate—an outcome we had the opportunity to present at this important workshop.
We are deeply grateful to WFH for their continued support and impactful donations. Their efforts are making a real difference in the lives of our patients.”
