“Transfusion Medicine and Immunohematology Hands-on training workshop
Department of Pathology, PGMI/AMC/LGH, Lahore
22 April 2026 at LGH, Lahore. Held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Farooq Afzal, Principal PGMI/AMC/LGH.
The major component of the workshop was the hands-on practical session, during which participants were trained in blood grouping and cross matching, gel technique versus tube testing in antibody screening, routine screening versus enzyme-treated cells, and elution testing with DAT-positive cases (IgG and C3d).”
