Mavis Agnes Kisakye: A Patient Story That Shows the Power of Humanitarian Aid
Mavis Agnes Kisakye, Health Officer, EVD Response at Uganda Red Cross Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a profound honor to meet with Daniel, a patient from Kisoro whose journey has been transformed through the WFH Humanitarian Aid Program.
Seeing the sheer joy in both Daniel and his mother’s eyes after eight years of consistent support serves as a powerful reminder of why our mission matters.
As we look toward the future, HFU is committed to deepening this impact by establishing strategic partnerships with support from NNHF with Kisoro District Hospital to ensure that specialized care is not just a hope, but a permanent reality for every family in the region.”
