Alessandra Bosch: First Comprehensive Swiss Haemophilia Registry Report Now Published

Alessandra Bosch, Clinician Scientist at University of Zurich, Attending Physician (Senior Consultant) at Kinderspital Zürich, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Haemophilia:

Incredibly proud to share a milestone for the Swiss Haemophilia Network: our first comprehensive registry report is now published in Haemophilia!

This has been a true team effort across 11 haemophilia treatment centres in Switzerland, made possible by hundreds of patients and their families, dedicated haemophilia nurses, clinical staff who have contributed data year after year since 2015, and of course funding from the industry.

With 929 patients and nearly 5,000 patient-years of follow-up, the Swiss Haemophilia Registry gives us a clear picture of how bleeding disorder care in Switzerland has evolved – and how much it has improved!

We still have work to do: expanding the registry to better represent women with bleeding disorders, VWD, and rare bleeding disorder patients is a key priority going forward.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible.”
