Yaser Jenab: Advancing Global VTE Science Through the RIETE Registry

Yaser Jenab, Head of vein department at Tehran Heart Center, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authord, published in European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, adding:

“Proud to be part of the RIETE Registry, the world’s largest database dedicated to venous thromboembolism (VTE), currently including more than 138,000 patients, 204 active hospitals, and over 318 scientific publications.

It is particularly rewarding to see Tehran Heart Center, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) contributing to this global collaboration and representing Iran in one of the most influential VTE research networks worldwide.

Many thanks to my team for their valuable support.

I am also honored to be among the authors of the recently published study in the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery:

‘Distinct Predictors of Post-Thrombotic Symptoms, Signs, and Ulcers After First Episode Deep Vein Thrombosis: A RIETE Registry Study.’

International registries such as RIETE continue to generate valuable real-world evidence that helps improve patient care and advance vascular medicine.”
