Andrew Zapfel, Deputy Director, Global SCD Initiatives and Alliances at American Society of Hematology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Looking forward to this July 7 conversation, hosted by the World Health Organization and the Global Action for Congenital Conditions (GACC), to showcase the new WHO Framework on Newborn Screening in Low- and Middle-Income Countries.
Dr. Charles Kiyaga will be presenting on his leadership in Uganda to expand newborn screeing for Sickle Cell Disease and showcase some of the work of the American Society of Hematology‘s Consortium on Newborn Screening in Africa.”
