Debra Bellon: A Milestone for Global Rare Disease Advocacy in Nairobi
Debra Bellon, Strategic Engagement Manager at Rare Diseases International, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“There’s really nothing quite like bringing our Rare Diseases International global community together in person for the RDI Membership Meeting.
We spent three days together in amazing Nairobi, sharing experiences, identifying common priorities and building community.
This short time has been packed with panel discussions, workshops, and a lot more dancing than we planned!
I am so grateful to our co-hosts Rare Disorders Kenya (Christine Mutena and Roselyn Kanja) for making this first meeting outside of Europe a reality.
Thank you to our members who traveled from near and far to spend this time with us.
Umoja ni Nguvu.
We are Stronger Together!”
